Web Application Developer

Job Description:
Statusfirm is an Edmonton-based digital media company providing customized solutions for managing and publishing video on the Internet, built on our proprietary Core Catalyst modular web application development platform.
We’re looking for a talented full-time Web Application Developer (specializing in PHP5/Zend Framework).
If you are on top of the latest web technologies, understand User Centered Design, and have independent problem solving skills, then we want to meet you!
Formal education and academic credentials are a definite plus, but applicants with real-life experience and/or proven/referenced skills are encouraged to apply.
You must be able to work as part of a collaborative team and should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. As part of our team, you will help us develop and maintain the Core Catalyst platform. You should be able to work out of our office just off Whyte Avenue.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Motivated and detail oriented
OOP w/ PHP 5+
MVC Framework experience (Zend Framework preferred; Code Ignitor, Symphony, etc considered
Strong database knowledge (MySQL)
Javascript (jQuery)
Web Services
