Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Web Developer to lead the front-end development of a corporate website that will engage customers and drive sales. As a member of our User Experience Team, you will work with designers and back-end developers to implement the client-side of a fully-interactive customer experience.
As a Web Developer, you have a passion for creating amazing user experiences, have a solid understanding of web and mobile application development, and enjoy keeping up-to-date with the latest industry and user trends, best practices and emerging technologies,

Your will find success in this role if you have:
· Minimum of 3 years front-end web development experience involving the design and development of new interactive web-based features and interfaces
· Minimum of 3 years experience with the following:
o XHTML / HTML5
o CSS2.1 / CSS3
o JavaScript / Ajax / JQuery with a solid understanding of scripting inside browser contexts
· The ability to translate wireframes and Photoshop design documents into working HTML and CSS
· Solid understanding of different browser / device capabilities
· Experience in improving the usability and performance of web and mobile applications
· The ability to effectively communicate with designers, web content and back-end developers in order to successfully implement media integration initiatives (web search, social media, mobile, etc.) that will appeal to the primary target markets
Experience in the following areas would be considered an asset:
· Previous web development experience in a retail / eCommerce environment
· Website Speed / Performance
· Mobile Site Development
· Cross Browser Development
· Experience with Source Version Control
· Accessibility
· SEO Basics
· Java and JSP
