This exciting, full-time position is based in St. John's, Newfoundland, working with a highly motivated, friendly, and successful independent production house.
Best Boy Entertainment has been producing quality television programming for eight years. Best Boy's expanding slate of productions encompass children's, lifestyle, reality and documentary genres. Best Boy is creating games, apps and websites for a worldwide audience.

As our Social Media Marketing & Community Manager, you will be responsible for generating a trackable online marketing presence, creating new revenue streams for Best Boy Entertainment and successfully bringing new digital products to market.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record designing and implementing successful social media and online marketing campaigns. He/she will also have experience launching digital content including Apps and other digital media.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Vice President of Distribution, Marketing, Interactive as well as liaise with in-house creative personnel from the digital media team to plan, execute and track our overall social media and digital marketing strategy, as well as individual campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, coordinate and implement a coherent company wide social media marketing strategy.
- Assist in the strategy and development of product launches and marketing/ distribution plans for each program brand.
- Manage day-to-day activities on social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, IMDB, etc)
- Design, track, monitor and analyze specific campaigns and social media activities related to Best Boy Entertainment properties.
- Research and write content for websites, blogs and social media platforms as required.
- Monitor the evolution of social media, including reports, sites, case studios and happenings and share findings with the rest of the team.
Required Skills
- Proven experience designing, executing and tracking successful social media and digital marketing campaigns.
- Experience bringing new products to market including Apps, video games and other digital media.
- Bachelors degree required with a major in marketing, communications, advertising, or public relations preferred.
- Superior knowledge of SEO, Google Adwords, and Google Analytics.
- A proactive approach to projects and the ability to take initiative and self-start is a must!
- Excellent written communication skills as well as editing and proof-reading skills.
- Organized, proactive, detail oriented and able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines with ease and comfort.
Desired Skills

- Working knowledge of HTML or XHTML
- Entrepreneurial skills, self-motivated.
